"My husband and I are new residents of Sonoma and have a home with a lot of dark  hardwood floors.  With winter approaching we really needed to warm up our home with some area rugs.  After much research I called Pak and was fortunate to speak to the owner Anjum AND to have called at the start of a one week sale--- with 40% off on all of the stock.  We were in the market for 6 rugs and when we traveled to San Francisco to look, we hoped to find a few carpets that might work. We were only interested in an arrangement allowing us to take rugs on approval to try out in our home.  We were assured that not only was this possible, but that Anjum would provide delivery and set-up in our home in Sonoma, with no obligation to buy.  An impressive offer!

Anjum was waiting for us when we arrived at the store and saw to it that we had a good parking spot---- just the beginning of his great service. There were an overwhelming number of rugs to choose from and Anjum not only had his guys pull any possible rug we might like, but also then haul the rugs out to the lobby area, where there was natural light.  I brought photos of the rooms of our home on my IPad, and we used these to better orient the search. We found a number of carpets with potential, and Anjum was very observant of our likes and dislikes. He offered to come to Sonoma the following day with the selected 3 or 4 rugs for each of the 6 areas of our home---- quite a truckload as some were very, very large!

They arrived timely the next day and went to work moving our furniture and laying out the rugs one by one. The guys were extremely efficient, professional and could not have been more pleasant to work with. Anjum had decided to bring a few other rugs that we had felt were too dark, but it turned out that they were the perfect choices for our main areas in the living room and dining room.  We ended up finding great rugs for all 6 areas and were able to work out incredibly good prices--- and the sale prices certainly helped as well.  We never felt any pressure and had an amazingly easy and pleasant experience, in what I expected would be a protracted and expensive search.  We are thrilled with each rug that we purchased and with the  exceptional result from just the few hours each day we had worked with Anjum.  To top it off, they returned to Sonoma the following week having cleaned-- free of charge another rug of ours, and providing a new pad for that rug as well as custom pads for all of the new rugs. They again moved all the furniture, laid the pads and put everything back together.  I forgot to mention that the day that we purchased our rugs, the guys had me get the vacuum and cleaned the floors before putting down the new rugs.  

Anjum was highly informative about oriental carpets, has excellent taste and design talent and was a complete pleasure to work with.  He has a passion for his work and we are delighted to have had the good fortune of such perfect timing in finding Pak and Anjum.  We could not be more thrilled with our rugs and the timeless beauty that they lend to our new home."
