"When I brought in a small old, Balouch rug for cleaning about a year ago, Ahmed pointed out that the rug could use some restoration. At first, I was leery as I had not planned on spending money to repair the rug, but the rug is about 50 years old and is a stunning piece in a rich burgundy, so I agreed to the restoration. I am so happy with the results. The rug was re-bound, re-dyed in places, and worn areas were re-woven; all this work was done by hand and the rug looks beautiful. Well worth the investment."

"My husband and I were looking for a runner for our hallway. We had gone to several other places and either did not find the correct size or were hesitant to buy because we did not know the true value. We went to Macys and purchased a beautiful rug that ended up being too wide which we returned. Then we went to Pak Oriental Rug. They have a huge selection of runners that were in the 9 ft length that we needed. After having them sort through over 50 carpets we had 5 that we were interested in. Anjm was great when we explained our budget and we ended up purchasing a beautiful carpet within our price. We would absolutely go back and plan to for two carpets for our bedroom. Great price, great quality, great service."

"I had such a superb experience at Pak Oriental Rug over the weekend that sharing it was a no-brainer. As a new homeowner, I was pretty much clueless when it came to rugs, but I knew I wanted something of quality that wouldn't break the bank.
Ahmed helped me explore a ton of different styles, sizes, and price ranges, demonstrating a pretty amazing amount of knowledge about each. He's a guy who clearly cares about the quality of not only his wares, but also the welfare of his customers.
It took me a little while to find exactly the right piece (my room is a little tricky), but Ahmed was helpful, patient, and polite throughout - never a hint of pushiness. It was like shopping with a friend - perhaps a friend who knows way more than he should about fine rugs, but a friend nonetheless.

"I love Pak Oriental Rug. Ahmed Butt is a very friendly and knowledgeable salesman. I took a client there and he was a good listener and showed her many rugs. I had a gut feeling when he showed her the one that she ultimately bought that it was the one based on her likes and dislikes, wants and needs. The entire time he was the best salesman you could hope for. There was never a feeling of high pressure sales at all. I can't imagine better customer service anywhere for any type of product. If all retail establishments were like this, what a relaxed experience it would be for the shopper! Pak Oriental's rugs are very beautiful, too!"

Ahmed was wonderful in helping us find the perfect rug for our dining room. He came to our house with multiple rugs so we could try them out in the space, patiently allowing us to see each under our table and with our chairs....we felt no pressure to buy but fell in love with this carpet and we couldn't be happier. Highly recommend!

Everything people say about them is true. Great inventory, great customer service and great prices. We went in during the sale and the owner, Anjum, spent more than 90 minutes going through stacks of rugs with us. He was very knowledgeable about colors, quality, etc and very patient and helpful. We found four lovely rugs and he gave us a great 'package deal.' The rugs were delivered to our home, furniture moved, . .. The whole experience was excellent As was the price.

We visited the store back in July, and Ahmed followed up our visit with an email including photos, prices, and info on all of the pieces we liked. We couldn't make a decision and decided to wait. When we popped in out of the blue 6 months later, Ahmed not only remembered us by name but was able to pull out the very rug we had been dreaming about all of this time. And then he found another to go with it. They compliment each other perfectly. Ahmed knew exactly what we would like and has an amazing eye for color.
