Everything people say about them is true.  Great inventory, great customer service and great prices.  We went in during the sale and the owner, Anjum, spent more than 90 minutes going through stacks of rugs with us.  He was very knowledgeable about colors, quality, etc and very patient and helpful.  We found four lovely rugs and he gave us a great 'package deal.'  The  rugs were delivered to our home, furniture moved, . ..  The whole experience was excellent  As was the price.

"We just purchased two rugs from Pak Oriental, and couldn't be happier! We visited the store back in July, and Ahmed followed up our visit with an email including photos, prices, and info on all of the pieces we liked. We couldn't make a decision and decided to wait. When we popped in out of the blue 6 months later, Ahmed not only remembered us by name but was able to pull out the very rug we had been dreaming about all of this time. And then he found another to go with it. They compliment each other perfectly. Ahmed knew exactly what we would like and has an amazing eye for color.

Also, he has great help and his employees are fast, organized, and know how to flip through rugs like champs!"

"I bought two large rugs from Pak Oriental Rugs. The service is exceptional and I don't believe such professionalism or patience can be found at any other rug store. I have searched many stores, but nothing can be compared to the service Ahmad gave me. They trusted me even though I had paid on installments. They were extremely kind about it and not only that Ahmad and his father allowed me to take a whole selection of rugs home to see how it fit in with my decor. They were in no rush to pick them up, but I wanted to return them as soon as I could find the time. When I did, they welcomed me to their store and showed me more rugs. The one I had paid for, Ahmad delivered along with the underlay rug. Not only that, he moved my furniture to see how best the carpets would look. I was so overwhelmed by his desire to do good and it was not a sales approach, but he truly cared that I should enjoy the rugs. Every day, when I see the rugs, it warms my heart because I love how they look. I would refer them again and again in a heartbeat. Pak Oriental Rugs is a winner and they should be recognized for their honest and good will approach that is so lacking in a designer showcase. They are not only a designer store, but they have so much integrity when it comes to dealing with customers. Many other stores are only interested in making money quickly and duping their customers, Ahmad is forthright and wants to do his best for his customers.

Anyone who is in the business of looking for high quality rugs, Pak Oriental Rugs is the place to go. They have rugs that are affordable but their best work is in their handiwork created on each individual rug. The silk rugs are even cheaper here than in Pakistan, but that is because Pak Rugs wants to give the best business to its clients without compromising on cost. They would rather take on a reduced profit and keep the customer coming back than raising their prices so high that one would only come once and never return. I am so grateful that i found them and I will definitely return for more. I have told all my friends and colleagues about the professionalism, dedication, and love of their rugs, of which some are even heirlooms.

In addition to all of the above, the most important thing for me was that they cared enough to allow me to pay as I could. This is the kind of businesses we all need. I can see Pak Oriental Rugs becoming the leaders in rugs if they already have not crossed that phase. Good luck to all rug shoppers, but make sure you pay these people a visit and ask them to show you the rug you can afford and like."

"I stopped in at lunch one day not dressed like I would be buying a hand made rug, but Ahmed approached me anyway and offered to show me rugs and find out what I was looking for.  I had already been shopping at another Oriental rug store but did not find what the wife was looking for in a rug.  Ahmed took the rugs I was interested in to different lighting and let me take pictures and text to the wife.  
We returned a few days later to see the one rug I thought the wife would like along with a few others.  I was right and the wife loved that rug. The price was fair, too.
If you are looking for an Oriental rug, would say definitely stop in here.  Bring the kids, they love climbing all over them."

"I highly recommend Pak Oriental Rug for anyone who is shopping for rugs.  They have an outstanding selection and often get new rugs in there store, so they aren't trying to sell rugs that are picked over, like many other rug stores.  I'm guessing that they can turn their inventory over quicker and get new rugs since they sell them at wholesale prices and have lots of large retail customers.  Although, unlike many other rug stores, Pak gives ALL their customers excellent, wholesale pricing for their high-quality imported rugs.  
I've shopped at many other rug stores in NYC, LA, and all of SF including the design center, and I keep coming back to Pak.  I like the way they do business with their customers and they aren't pushy and they will let you take the rug home to see how it looks, before committing to make a purchase.  Many times I have returned rugs that didn't work out in my house, and they don't give me a hard time or make me feel like a jerk for bringing it back.  More often than not, I'm happy with my rug choice and decide to keep them after bringing it home.  My rugs from Pak look beautiful in my home and wear very well over time and I get lots of complements on them.  I've never regretted a purchase made at this store, like I have at some others (don't ask me how many rugs from other places I have in my attic).
In summary, I recommend that everyone begin their rug search at Pak because they such an amazing selection, fabulous prices, and they make the whole process very easy and pleasant.  On a personal note, I would like to thank Pak for providing SF with a terrific store that imports beautiful rugs and sells them to the public for reasonable, fair prices.  I will be back soon and, P.S., I need a 12' runner in my usual, muted colors with an old world, antique look.  I'll see you soon!!!"

"Fantastic Experience I would HIGHLY recommend Pak Oriental. We bought a beautiful, high quality Afghan rug at a phenomenal price. The father/son team is wonderful to work with - giving great advice and guidance without being too pushy. They have a huge selection, and are moving to a larger location. This was the fourth rug store we tried, and it was by far the best experience."

"The other night my 45 pound dog was ill in the night all over my large living room Persian rug as well as one of the runners.  Besides feeling badly for Oliver I was ahhhhhh with stress as it was major not minor!  So I called Ahmed of Pak Oriental Rugs and once again he was wonderfully calm and said he would ask their rug cleaner  if he could spot my large rug and then clean my smaller one to try to save me money.  Well, he did and although they have done it many times for me besides selling me my pretty living room gentle vegetable die rug, I was especially appreciative this time due to a million things being on my plate.  Thanks Ahmed and Anjum for always being there to take care of whatever crops up!!! Oh, they also redelivered the rug at no charge since it was too heavy for me - that's what I call customer service!  So if you have a pet that occasionally goes a bit ich or just want to work with a really nice family on your redecorating with rugs, I can't recommend them enough - just nice people."
