"My husband and I wanted to use real oriental rugs in our San Francisco Victorian home. I was amazed by the quantity and quality of the rugs we saw at Pak. But, I was even more impressed with the service. We went through stacks of rugs and chose about 7 to try out at home. Their team delivered and laid out the rugs for us. Several days later they took all but 2 back to their store, and we continued to consider them the 2 left behind. Ultimately, we bought both. They came back with pads and got us all set up.
I was impressed with their sense of color and style in trying to coordinate the rugs with each other and with the furnishings and lighting in the house.
A 5-star experience!"

"Amazing store! Ahmed took great care of us throughout the whole rug-buying experience, showing us (what seemed like) hundreds of rugs and helping us discover what would work best in our home. He let us take home 5 different rugs to try out for a few days - which was immensely helpful since it is almost impossible to tell if a rug is the right one for your space from the showroom floor. We settled on a 29 foot runner for our long edwardian hallway and a 6x9 for the living room. They look great and feel like part of our home!"

"My wife and I had been searching for a throw rug to put in our bathroom for some time when we wandered into Pak Oriental Rug. Compared to other rug dealers in the area, Pak had an amazing selection at excellent prices. The person with whom we dealt let us look through two six feet stacks of rugs and provided excellent suggestions based upon our color scheme. Once we found the rug we wanted, we were able to take it home at no upfront charge to see how it would look in our home. Of course, it was perfect, and we paid for it a week later. All in all, excellent service, selection--highly recommended!"

"We recently went to San Francisco with a list of dealers in Oriental rugs. The first 4 stores we visited were small, with few rugs to view, and limited price ranges, mostly beyond our means. Then we got to Pak Oriental Rugs. This is the place to visit first. The large, bright showroom is filed with dozens of rugs, displayed in piles, sorted by size. Mr Anjum showed us about 100 rugs and worked hard to find the rug we wanted at an affordable price. This was the kind of shopping experience we were looking for. It has now been a few months since the purchase, and we enjoy the rug more every day. It is just beautiful. I strongly recommend Pak Oriental Rugs."

"You cannot get better customer service and attention. We recently bought a home and after looking at the chain store rugs (pottery barn/restoration hardware etc.) we decided to stop by this place which was in our neighborhood.
The moment we walked in Ahmed took the time to educate us on rug types and patiently flipped through an entire stack of rugs just for us to see different designs. Towards the end of the pile I found a carpet that I fell in love with instantly. Ahmed & team had NO problem pulling that one out -as well as other carpets we liked- and showing it to us on the lobby floor so we can get an idea of it. His knowledge, patience and customer service really sold us!
I would not want to look anywhere else! They know their rugs and they take the time to make sure you really love what you are getting. I walked out knowing me made the right decision.
I know i will be buying more rugs for the house from Pak Oriental. Ask for Ahmed!!"

"Pak Oriental Rugs was the second store we visited after a miserable experience across the street where the salesperson was absolutely clueless. Ahmed knew exactly what we were looking for. He listened carefully to our size, color and quality criteria and then proceeded to open up a variety of rugs for us to compare. In the process we learned about where and how the rugs were made. Clearly he loves his work. We settled on a beautiful, simple rug from India which looks just right in our loft. The price was fair, the purchase was enjoyable and we are very pleased with our new rug."

"I had a great experience buying from the father/son team at Pak Oriental rugs. They are good people and honest businessmen. They had a great selection and were comfortable to deal with, unlike a number of the other rug dealers in the design district who try to bilk you out of every single dollar (and probably working in cahoots with your designer!) As for selection, they had a good selection with a handful of specialty stuff you don't typically see. I feel like they are really running their business for the long haul, versus flipping unsuspecting customers. I want to support business and people like that... and get a good deal at the same time. You can do that at Pak."
